SAA Meeting on Saturday and Sunday

We are asking and encouraging all confirmed members to attend meetings on Saturday, October 3 & Sunday, October 4 as part of the SAA (Self-Assessment and Adjustment) program that we are currently engaged in.  Pastor Steven Pagels (St. Matthew’s, Oconomowoc) will lead us in Bible Study and small-group discussion on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9am to 5pm.  Lunch will be served.  This is not an exercise for the leadership of the congregation, but for all members.  We need you to be a part of this.  Pastor Pagels is coming to facilitate discussion amongst ourselves about how we might share the Gospel as much as possible.  Then on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 9am to 10:30am (between services), he will help us determine what adjustments to our ministry, if any, we would like to make over the next year.  Please sign up at the north bulletin board if you plan to attend.

WELS Nurses Association

Nurses have unique opportunities and a unique calling to share the good news of  Jesus Christ with people at a time in their lives when they’ll be most ready to listen.  We have a hope in Christ which sustains us through all of life’s trials and struggles and we’re often put into the right place at the right time to share it.  Join the WELS Nurses Association on October 24th at Wisconsin Lutheran College as they gather to consider, “Always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have in Christ Jesus”. Go to for more information or to register. Active, retired and student nurses or caregivers are welcome!
